VIDEO:

That's exactly what our van's solar & electrical system has allowed us to do!

When we set out to build our van for full-time living, we knew that we did not want the hassle and inconvenience of propane. Yes, it's definitely cheaper to throw propane in your van build versus building a beefy electrical system. But we did not want to take up valuable space with a sealed propane locker, and we did not want one more thing to worry about refilling on the road. In our 100% solar electrical campervan, all we have to do is fill up the van's gas tank and our water tank. That's it! This system is fully off-grid (no shore power) and supports our everyday needs while living, working, and adventuring on the road.

Watch the video to see some real-life examples of our solar and electrical system doing its job, such as using our radiant electric stovetop and our Bosch electric hot water heater.
